DMITRIJ DOBROVOL’SKIJ / LUDMILA PÖPPEL

Ludmila Pöppel is Associate professor of Slavic Languages at Stockholm University. Her principal current research fields are phraseology, lexical semantics, lexicography, corpus linguistics and discourse analysis. In these areas she is particularly interested of corpus-based analysis of constructions and phrasemes and combinatorial properties of words. Her research is being conducted in the context of several international projects and an international network of scholars from Sweden, Finland, Russia, Austria, Germany and France. She is member of editorial boards in several journals and expert referee in research boards. Among her publications we can find the article “Pragmatic potential of Russian discursive units: a constructional approach” (2015) and the book Lexical synonymy within the semantic field of POWER (2013), both in collaboration with Dmitrij Dobrovol'skij.
